A lighthouse is one in a Capiz Best. Lighhouse meant to guide seafarers at night, but the city government sees it as another tourist spot.

Beautifying the lighthouse and its surroundings and making it more accessible are being taken care of by One Capiz, a group of concerned Capiceños, with the help of the Roxas City government, according to Assistant Department Head of the City Engineer's Office architect Margie Maestro.Maestro said a P3-million budget from the Department of Transportation and Communications, which is now with the city government, will be used to construct a view deck and a 375- meter pathway to the lighthouse.

Olotayan Island is  one of the Capiz Best destination because , this island barangay of Capiz, the Philippines’ known seafood capital. Capiz Best in Olotayan Island is Most of all, the waters surrounding the place continue to provide the residents their main source of living. Proof of this was the bow-fishing local I spotted en route to the island who managed to haul an easy morning catch a good distance from the beachfront. As a result of its diverse aquamarine resources, the island continues to be a source of tasty seafood for tourists as majority of the catch by locals are said to be sold mostly to Boracay resort owners and nearby towns.

Roxas City’s Immaculate Conception Metropolitan Cathedral is one of the Capiz Best destination. Immaculate Conception Metropolitan Cathedral was founded in 1707. The current structure which was once painted blue a couple of years ago is actually the third incarnation of the church. 

Meeting similar fates with most of the Spanish-era churches in the Philippines, the original cathedral was destroyed by a storm while the second one was rocked by an earthquake. 

The Capiz Best destination in Cathedral, painted in beige and earthy shades, would probably look like any other church if not for its uniquely shaped pediment and its octagonal belfry.

The mass of people inside the church’s barrel-ceiling ed interior. Painted in white and lit in soft yellows, its walls are sparsely decorated. Except for statues of saints placed at the window niches, there are hardly any other religious icons inside. Quite surprising for a Catholic Church.
